About Bridget

Family: I have an older (by fourteen whole months) sister who thankfully is a Master Hair Stylist and is always there to remind me the desire to go blonde will pass by tomorrow. My mom lives in beautiful St. Thomas and does some investing in London and my dad recently fulfilled his dream of moving to Costa Rica! I live with my partner Kevin and his mother and sister in the White Oaks area. Living with family is truly a blessing, and it doesn't hurt when your mother-in-law is Portuguese and loves to cook!

What do you like about living in the area? I have grown up and lived in South London my entire life so it really just feels like home to me. As a kid it was convenient being able to walk to White Oaks mall, school, the movie theater or to see fireworks at the Public Library. The area really offers tons of dining options, trails, shopping, and super convenient access to the 401 Highway!

Favourite Restaurants: I really like Milestone's, Jack Astor's (Now known as Jack's) & Moxies! My go to orders are usually salmon or a pasta dish and I always like to try the latest seasonal cocktail or beer. The more unique the flavor, the better!

Hobbies and favourite things to do: On the weekend I am a sucker for a board game night (Caverna, Spice Road, Concept, Mysterium, Dixit, & Password or Taboo are some go to games) or an Escape Room (we've done just about every one available in London). My friends and I love going to wineries and planning themed events, and doing craft/paint nights. If I'm by myself I spend a fair amount of my free time gaming, Playstation is my console of choice, and you'll usually find me on Apex or Rocket League. Although it may be cliché my absolute favorite thing to do is travel and I try to go on a group trip at least once a year.

Dream Vacation: I would really love to visit Portugal! I always hear people say Portugal is beautiful and is their favourite place they've travelled. It seems like it has a little something for everyone with history & architecture, stunning beaches, wine country, and fresh seafood! I like a mix of relaxation and adventure!

Other than a family member, dead or alive, who would you like to have dinner with? I think it would have to be Keanu Reeves. He just seems to be very genuine and I feel like he would be full of interesting life experience! And bonus points for being Canadian.
