About Neda

Family: "I moved to London when I was 17 to attend University. I attended Western University and met my husband in the engineering program. We decided to stay in London and lay down roots in this city. We bought our first house together when we were in our early 20s. It was the biggest decision in our lives and looking back it was the smartest decision we made. We have two young boys who are being raised in a tri-lingual home, it is a challenge for all of us, but we hope that they will be happy we did this for them one day. "

What do you like about living in the area?London is a vibrant city with so much to do, especially in the warmer months. It is also a great sized city with great proximity to bigger cities and the states. We have Budweiser gardens for all the hockey and concerts, so many fabulous restaurants and plenty of entertainment. There are so many different places for families to enjoy some good old fun times with their children such as East Park, Storeybook Gardens, Appleland Station and short drive to the Clovermead Apiaries and the wonderful beaches at Ipperwash, Grandbend and Port Stanley. Lastly my most favourite about London is the parks, and the path system.

Favourite Restaurants: Taverna, La Casa, Abruzzi, Fellini Koolini’s, I just love Italian food.

Hobbies and favourite things to do: "I paint in oil colour when I can spare enough time to paint, I also jog, cycle and used to ride a motorcycle before I had children, getting back into riding again. "

Dream Vacation: "I love Europe and I feel I have only seen a fraction of it in my travels, I would love to spend a year just travelling through Europe, and do a portion of that trip on a motorbike. "

Other than a family member, dead or alive, who would you like to have dinner with? I would like to have dinner with my grandmother, she passed away when I was a teenager. Like most teenagers I did not spend much of my time with my grandmother and I feel like I never got to really know her. She was a woman who loved life and loved food :)! She died way too young. She was a mother to 6 children, who lived in a small town, moved to the big city and faced all the challenges and raised amazing children. I think we would have a wonderful dinner date.
